My Artwork
For over 12 years, I’ve been an avid painter. What started out as a hobby has now developed into a talent that I have been able to monetize. I’ve also been fortunate to be able to donate several pieces to auctions that benefit non-profits. I handle my design clients through my instagram, @OliviaNussDesigns. If you are interested in a commissioned piece, direct message me.
Recently, I was honored to contribute to the Jefferson Parish Louisiana Oyster Trail by hand-painting a 3-foot-tall oyster sculpture for display at Deanie’s Restaurant in Bucktown. This public art program celebrates Louisiana’s rich oyster heritage, pairing the flavors of local restaurants with the creativity of regional artists.
My design brings a playful nod to Louisiana’s vibrant seafood culture to life, adding a touch of local artistry to an experience that blends food, culture, and community.
I was also able to provide the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana (CRCL) with a piece for their February 2021 auction! For details, see their site at www.crcl.org. For tickets to the auction click here.
